The Oklahoma City Geological Society is pleased to announce a one day seminar focused onproviding attendees with the information needed to start and operate a successful independent oil & gas company. This seminar is designed for Geologists, Landmen, Engineers and ANYONE who is interested in running an oil & gas company.
The seminar will include specific information concerning working mature, complex areas. It will also cover how to use the OCGS Geological Library, how to operate your business without a large computer system as well as how to recognize problems with certain commercial data. Information on leases and contracts as well as how to prepare, present and sell a deal will be covered. Several successful professionals and business owners will share their experiences and provide advice. The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion between the experts and the audience. If you have ever considered running your own business, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from those that have walked that path and succeeded.

- Ron Arvine – Equipment and buying wells

Attendees will be given materials to take home including forms, sample letters and other valuable information which you need to get your new business started.
