ABSTRACT

A low-tech methodology using drill cuttings with robust results creates a reliable resistivity curve, and tracks density porosity while drilling. This high grades the decision to run a d.s.t. and overcomes false negatives - and false positives - in reservoir rocks. It also provides 20/20 vision in vertical and lateral well bores, and confirms or denies most zones of interest at near real time.
