CARBONATE FIELD SEMINAR

CAICOS PLATFORM, SOUTHERN BAHAMAS

May 2-10, 2021

Our 36th public Advanced Carbonate Field Seminar on Caicos Platform, southern Bahamas will be held May 2-10, 2021.  If you are new to carbonates and need training, this seminar gives you the critical exposure to classical carbonate environments, their facies attributes and reservoir potential, and a scale perspective needed by everyone mapping in the subsurface.  If you are more experienced in carbonates, you will be introduced to a platform that has yielded exciting new models of carbonate deposition and diagenesis related to strong easterly trade winds.  These relationships explain numerous petroleum case studies, including those associated with Mesozoic carbonate sequence around the rim of the Gulf of Mexico and many western Canadian Devonian and Mississippian reservoirs.  Previous participants have come away from this seminar with new ideas for generating prospects or more efficiently developing reservoirs.  We have presented this seminar 73 times on a public or private basis!

Note that the registration deadline is:  April 3, 2021.

Register early to hold your place.  You must arrive in Caicos on Sunday, May 2, 2021.  Introductory talks start early the next day.  The seminar ends on Monday, May 10th at noon.  You can fly out anytime that day after 3 PM.

I have attached a brochure (in PDF) with more information and a registration form.
