CONTROLS ON CARBONATE PLAY DEVELOPMENT IN THE PALEOZOIC OF WEST TEXAS AND NEW MEXICO

Influence of Physiographic Setting and Structural Controls

FEBRUARY 24, 2022

(8:00 AM - 4:45 PM)

Seminar Cost: $875 USD/person

Registration Deadline: February 10, 2022

I will be presenting another applied carbonate seminar that discusses controls on the occurrence and distribution of Paleozoic conventional and unconventional carbonate plays in west Texas and New Mexico. The relationships and guidelines noted in this seminar have direct application to other Paleozoic carbonate sequences in the U.S., Canada and other basins worldwide.

Please see the attached PDF file for a summary of the seminar, more information about the topics covered and a registration form. The seminar begins at 8:00 AM and finishes on or before 4:45 PM (CDT) on a ZOOM meeting platform. There are formal breaks for coffee and lunch, as well as other shorter informal breaks during some of the lectures.

A PDF of the power point images, as well as an extensive bibliography and other handouts will be sent to you upon registration and payment. The number of participants is limited to 10. No refunds, but substitutions are allowed. To register, complete the registration form and email it back to me.

Please contact me at 713-819-4444, or jdravi@rice.edu, for additional information, or if you have any questions.

A version of this seminar is always available to be given to your office on a private basis, as well.

Cheers,

Jeff Dravis
