CARBONATE PLAY DEVELOPMENT IN

MESOZOIC SEQUENCES OF THE U.S. GULF RIM

Influence of Physiographic Setting and Structural Controls

Jeffrey J. Dravis PhD,  Dravis Interests, Inc., Houston, Texas

MARCH 2-3, 2022

Seminar Cost: $950 USD/person

Registration Deadline: February 9, 2022

I will be presenting an applied carbonate seminar that discusses the controls on the occurrence and distribution of Mesozoic conventional carbonate plays around the U.S. Gulf rim. These types of plays may be alternative options to unconventional shale plays. This seminar has been given in-person to industry and government clients, as well as local geological societies for years. This will be my 6th online presentation of this seminar since December of 2020, with the last presented in December of 2021.

Please see the attached PDF file for a summary of the seminar, and more information about the topics covered and a registration form. The seminar begins each day at 8:15 AM and finishes at 3:30 PM (CDT) on a ZOOM meeting platform. There are coffee and lunch breaks each day, as well as shorter informal breaks.

An electronic version of the power point images, an extensive bibliography and other handouts will be sent to you upon registration and payment. Number of participants is limited to 10. No refunds, but substitutions are allowed. To register, complete the registration form and email back to me.

Please contact me at 713-819-4444, or jdravi@rice.edu, for additional information, or if you have any questions.

A version of this seminar is always available to be given to your office on a private basis, as well.

Be safe, and cheers,

Jeff Dravis
