ETGS Members,
I hope this email finds you well as we continue into what has been a great Spring season so far in East Texas. Thankfully, oil prices have continued their multiweek gains and we hope that they will remain on a healthy trend and that gas prices will follow. Of course, the industry today still has its challenges and uncertainties domestically and abroad.
So, to help us as a society better understand these challenges, we are excited to remind everyone that Karr Ingham of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers will be joining us next Wednesday as our luncheon speaker. He will be discussing The Challenging Landscape of the Texas and U.S. Oil and Gas Industry. We hosted Karr as a speaker at our Tech & Prospect Expo last year and look forward to having him back to hear his take on the previous year’s developments as well as the future. Please RSVP for the luncheon HERE.
I would also like to announce that Karr and the TAEP will be hosting a happy hour and dinner Wednesday evening at The Grove Kitchen & Gardens. The happy hour will be come and go from 5-6:30, and if you would like to join us for dinner, we ask that you RSVP on the ETGS website. Please use link to register for the dinner HERE. Either way, all are welcome for a great networking event. Beer, wine and dinner provided by the Alliance.
As you may know, the ETGS had a great Tech & Prospect Expo last month. Without a doubt, the continued success of the Expo this year and the previous twelve before are in large part due to the efforts of Matthew Bailey. He has been a fantastic leader, but all good things must come to an end as this is Matthew’s last year as chairman. So, if you bump into him, please be sure to give him a big thank you. He certainly deserves it!
I would also like to thank the vendor and prospect booth exhibitors as well as our speakers, Casey Clawson and Matt Boyce. Without your support, the expo would not happen! I have attached a list of contact information for the exhibitors. We hope this will continue to facilitate the networking between the great people that help keep this industry be the best it can be. A special thanks also to William Hagan, CEO of Stratagraph, Inc. for their donation to the student scholarships for Stephen F. Austin Students and John Hannon of Halliburton for their support of the Icebreaker.
